It’s simple and delicious and a real crowd enjoyment, especially if you and your guests like a little bit of a kick. It’s especially great for an afternoon or evening of football watching. This Buffalo Chicken Dip is great served with crackers, crusty bread, celery or tortilla chips. It’s best to use a block of cheese and shred it yourself because it will melt much better than the pre shredded cheese.
Instant Pot Buffalo Chicken Dip Recipe
8 ounce cream cheese (at room temp)
1/2 cup cayenne pepper sauce
1/2 cup sour cream
2 tsp garlic powder
1 cup shredded cooked rotisserie chicken
1 1/2 cups shredded Colby Jack cheese
1/4 cup cup water
In a medium bowl add cream cheese, hot sauce, sour cream and garlic. Mix until well blended. Stir in the rotisserie chicken. Add 1/2 cup cheese, stirring until everything is well blended. Spoon into a Instant Pot baking dish. Top with the rest of the cheese. Cover with foil. Place a trivet at the bottom of your Instant Pot. Add your water to the bottom of the Instant Pot. Place the buffalo chicken dip baking dish on top of your trivet in your Instant Pot. Set to manual for 7 minutes. Natural release.
